  • The Community Cancer Fund, begun in 2004, has raised over $35,000 to provide relief to individuals and families in Columbia and Greene Counties affected by cancer. 
  • The C.A.R.T.S. medical transportation service began with one car and one driver/dispatcher in March 1999. There are now eleven drivers and six vehicles, including an 8-passenger wheelchair-accessible minibus, and a full-time scheduler and dispatcher.
  •  The Healthcare Consortium is a 501- ( c ) -3 not-for-profit organization. Contributions made to The Healthcare Consortium may be tax deductible.
  •  The Healthcare Consortium became the 32nd rural health network In New York State.
  • The Healthcare Consortium mailed more than 30,000 copies of the first-ever Health Services directories to every Columbia County household in Winter 1999!
