Appointments Available For Child Health Plus, Family Health Plus and Medicaid Enrollments

Covering the Uninsured, the Columbia-Greene Facilitated Enrollment Program, is pleased to announce the availability of enrollment counselors throughout Columbia and Greene Counties.

Enrollment counselors offer eligibility screening and application assistance for individuals and families wishing to obtain affordable health insurance through New York State-funded Child Health Plus, Family Health Plus, and Medicaid. Assistance with annual re-certification is also available. These consultations are absolutely free of charge.

Many working individuals and families experience difficulty finding affordable health insurance.   If your children are uninsured, you can talk with an Enrollment Counselor about Child Health Plus. CHP provides comprehensive health benefits for children from birth until they reach 19 years of age. Adults without health insurance should also ask about Family Health Plus.

Appointments can be made by calling the Facilitated Enrollment Office at 822-9600 or toll-free 1-800-980-5330. Walk-in hours at the Healthcare Consortium office are Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.

Covering the Uninsured is a program managed by the Healthcare Consortium.
