This Directory of Services is being provided to you with funds made available through the New York Elder Caregiver Support Program and the Columbia County Board of Supervisors.

The Office for the Aging and other public and private agencies and organizations offer a wide array of programs and services to help older Columbia County residents remain in their homes and keep active in community and family life.

Individuals enter into the caregiving role in a spirit of love and generosity. However, it is a stressful occupation and burnout can occur. Information about resources which are available, supportive services and respite care are essential to the caregivers and the persons needing care.

This booklet is dedicated to the caregivers who enhance the quality of life of older persons. We salute you and remain available to assist you in your caregiving role.
