Home Delivered Meals, popularly referred to as “Meals on Wheels,” are for persons who are essentially homebound and unable to prepare their own main meal of the day. The meals are meant to complement, but not replace, that which a person can do for oneself or those supports provided by family, friends and services rendered by other agencies.
Persons requesting the service will be visited by a Community Services Specialist. This assessment visit is meant to determine the need for the meal program and to identify other problems that we may be able to assist with.
