Made possible through a grant from The Northeast Pennsylvania Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, this weekend camp retreat provides women who are dealing with cancer an opportunity to share life experiences. Through exercise, arts and crafts, wellness, outdoor, educational and social activities, participants can learn new skills, increase self-esteem and confidence, and help address the risks and fears that many women face during and after treatment.

In October an Adirondack weekend is offered at Double H Hole in the Woods in Lake Luzerne, NY. Campers enjoy this weekend on the grounds of the Paul Newman camp for critically ill children. Horseback riding, nature walks, and leaf peeping await participants. The cost is $75. For more information call Karen at (518) 454-2064.
